L.D. CALLAGHAN, INC. is a construction firm dedicated to the design and construction of individual living and/or working environments. Whether it is renovation of existing space, additional space, or entirely new space, we can help in meeting your particular needs in residential, light commercial, or mixed use of residential and commercial.
Lou Callaghan brings 30 years of experience both as a business owner and as an employee for other firms in managing commercial and residential construction. Renovations of occupied facilities, construction of new office and retail buildings, historical reconstructions, and new residential construction for private and public concerns.
In an effort to stay current with building trends and as a member of the Florida Green Building Coalition, L.D. Callaghan, Inc. has recently completed the design and construction of a Green Certified home. Current work includes 2 homes that will be Green Building and Energy Star certified.
LD Callaghan, Inc. also offers a Project Management service that can be tailored to the specific needs of the client. Areas include:
  • Document procurement and organization for permit submittal and sub contractor & vendor pricing
  • Sub contractor and vendor quote review
  • Sub contracts and purchase orders for vendors
  • Site visits with written reports on work progress and quality prior to city or county inspections
  • Final walk through and written  punch list assigning trade responsibility
Lou Callaghan is a graduate from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration.
